Equal parts Set Designer, Florist and magician
Gerard Gantert, or “G” to his friends, is the man behind Wallflower Designs. With over 30 years of experience in the event industry he’s well-versed in the business of making dreams come true.
Both a master floral designer and seasoned set designer, G holds a certificate in Staging, Set Design and Theatre from Stockton University of Galloway, New Jersey.
Prior to creating Wallflower Designs, Gerard has had the pleasure of holding several leadership roles for a variety of clients and businesses in the area. His reputation is one of exceptional designs and careful execution. He strives to bring an elevated contribution to any event he is a part of.
When he’s not creating event installations, you can almost certainly find G on the beach, regardless of time of year.
Theatrical Logic
In is down, down is front;
Out is up, up is back;
And of course;
Right is left and left is right.
A drop shouldn’t and
A block and a fall does neither.
A prop doesn’t and
A cove has no water.
Tripping is O.K.:
A running crew rarely gets anywhere;
A purchase line will buy you nothing;
A trap will not catch anything and
A gridiron has nothing to do with football.
Strike is work (in fact a lot of work) and
A green room thank God usually isn’t
Now that you are finally versed in theatrical forms -
“Break a leg” …
But not really!
